* Indian Head Trail * Terlingua, TX * 01.17.2022 *
Today we set out to find the Indian Head Trail, near our camp. We turned back because of a No Trespassing sign on the road, choosing to piddle around the ghost town again. Bill asked a gallery owner about the trail, and she encouraged us to go back. Said “the sign was for the sides of the road.” In Terlingua “gates mean Stop” apparently “No Trespassing” signs mean “stay on the road till you get where you are going.” Our goal was to hike part of the National Park System, but not through the main gate, just a small gap in a fence line and a few signs at the entry, I doubt many have ventured through.
