Classism and the RV Life

After a hike Bill and I were ready for dinner. There was this highbrow private golf club, Lajitas Golf Club and Resort. Bill had heard about it and knew it was a Members Only Club. Despite wearing hiking pants, a clashing hot pink shirt, Bill in holey shorts and a plaid flannel from 1982, both of us covered in dirt, I wanted to eat there. We wander in and find the pizza chef who was tending to the bon fire. He tells us it’s Members Only, but he must have been lonely. After intently listening to him for 10 minutes telling us about all the places we could eat if we were allowed to eat he asks: “where would you eat if you could eat here?” Score… we were in! Before Bill could be polite and say the Pizza Shack, I blurt out “there” pointing to the 5-star restaurant. Off we go with the pizza chef to get our table in the ritzy restaurant. The next day I look to book a few days at the RV Park they have in the resort. To my surprise they only allow Bus’s, Vans, and Trailers. Right in the top of the reservation page it reads “No Fifth-wheels.” Who knew our fifth wheel ranked lower than a trailer? Now we know. Just call me Bougee.
