Finally made it to Flora-Bama. Life goals. LOL
This legendary bar is in Orange Beach Alabama and Perdido Key Florida line. We went around 5pm and sat on the beach and watched the waves.
Place was sparce. Looked mostly like tourists like us, with a peppering of Harley folks. We got shrimp baskets for dinner, and they were exceptional. They have at least 5 stages throughout. Multiple venue/buildings. It reminds me a great deal of Secrets in Ocean City, MD but with a more solid focus on live music. We got to hear two sets of country singers. Had not heard of either, but both good vocals and solid guitar. I know it’s a hot spot for bigger acts and Bill says it has a reputation for stars to pop in and jump on stage to perform.
Felt very iconic, just slow with how early we were with only 100 patrons give or take. I can imagine spring break being crazy. Worth a visit if you’re near the Florida Alabama line or wanting to recreate your Spring Break debauchery days.
