Our home for the night. On way to Teton National Park. HH allows us to overnight in some unique spots for an evening’s rest, a meal, and new friendships. Melvin is a huge brewery in southern WY on the Snake River. Mostly brewery with a small bar/restaurant up front. It backs to BLM land and our server said the place is hopping in the summer along the river. This time of year, it was a group of snow mobile racers, a few travelers, including some 20 somethings camping in their cars, and a team of bottlers. It was bottling day which seemed to be cause for much celebration, so we joined right in! You would be shocked at how many of the young folks serving you in resort and ski towns live in their cars. It’s by choice to some extent. The glamour of the struggle, I guess. LOL. Most come from good families. But housing for the working class is still a work in progress for most resort areas. So, take good care of them, over tip, and mostly be kind.
