Getting ready to head back east in a few days. But yesterday went to the dogs. We did a full day dog sled tour. Probably covered 25 miles or so of pristine forest with a stop at Granite Hot Springs for a soak and Liz’s Chili. I fell in love with the dogs. Especially Jeffrey who was the cheerleader of our team. He is closest right when hooked up in these pics. He had more heart and spirit. I am sure he believes he was solely responsible for moving our sled. Many of the dogs have raced in the Iditarod Race in Alaska. Frank has two teams in Alaska racing right now! When they retire from racing, they become touring dogs. You could tell they loved their jobs. They loved Libby, our sweet musher, and they also loved getting back home. Just like us. See you soon Baltimore.
